I'm archiving some of my stories over at AO3. I'd already done maybe about 39 of them and I've just archived another seven.

Forty-six down and another fifty-odd to go, not including the WIPs.

I started writing fanfics three years ago. Good lord I've done a lot in three years! And some of my WIPs are two years old! *headdesk

I updated my master list and I haven't even counted some one-shots in that list, which is already up to over the 100 story mark.

So, let's see, that's an average of approximately 35 stories a year. And quite a few of those are multi-chapter. I have to stop writing epics, or at least learn to focus on one before I go and start another!

Woo -- prolific! :) And yay for archiving on AO3 *g*

...Er, if it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one who bounces around between series, has trouble trying to finish epics, and has waaaay too many WIP's? (I think that may be one of those "normal" fanfic writer struggles things, sooo, feel good? ^_^;; )

hee hee, yeah, feeling better now, lol. I'd hate to think what my final total will be once I finish archiving. I've got a long way to go.

*lol* Cool :)

Well, I've recently gone to using Evernote for 'holding' most of my fics as I work on them (on the go + quickref, hah!), and can look at my 'wip' and 'complete' notebooks and -see- the fic tallies at a glance, so... *dies* Sometimes I think you're better off not knowing, y'know? ;)

Have fun with the final fic tallies, and remember to treat yourself with some chocolate or something after! :) That stuff's hard work!

Wow, and I thought I had a lot of fics!

I hear you about focus and how to channel your Muse. It is hard. It's been about three years for me too. I so enjoy it, but it can get rather crazy when 'plot bunnies' are nawing at your heals to write a story you know would be awesome (to your mind anyway)!!

Congrats to you! :D And thanks for friending me! :D

I've never posted over at AO3. FFN has had so many problems recently and a lot of them still aren't fixed. It's very annoying.

Do you recommend AO3!??

Yeah, it is crazy. Bad plot bunnies! lol

I totally recommend AO3, even just for the layout. It just seems to look better than FFN.
